At Tadpoles to Butterflies we believe and know for a fact that infants are very smart and can do so much more than just be adorable. We carefully observe each baby as they connect and communicate with their parents and our care teachers. We watch them move, grow, play and explore their surroundings.
Babies as young as 6 weeks have something to say and we are here to listen. Learning to self regulate or self sooth, building their muscles so they can roll over, sit up and eventually crawl and walk as well as language development are just a few of the milestones we encourage.
The first step before we are ever able to "teach" them anything is to build a connection and a secure attachment with each baby and their family. Your baby's day will be filled with many activities and plenty of time on the floor to build their large muscles. Babies will have sensory experiences to excite the little scientist inside. They will have time to use their 5 senses and begin connecting with the world around them. We document all growth and developmental milestones by using special curriculum called Experienced Curriculum. Babies have so much to teach us... we just need to be willing to listen and observe!
We understand that your baby is a precious and priceless addition to your family. We are here for you, to assist you in caring for your baby. Making the decision to place your baby in our care is a serious matter, something that we are sensitive to and fully understand. We will work side by side with you to give your baby the best care possible and a wonderful start in life.
